Our Solution for Saldeo SMART


The SaldeoSMART solution is a tool that simplifies the flow of invoices (and other documents) as well as communication between the parties involved in a given business operation. Invoices generated in SaldeoSMART and other documents are forwarded to other users within one organization or to users in other entities. The system generates a notification that the document has been made available to the recipient (or group of recipients). The recipient can download the document by clicking on the link contained in the notification email.

In order to provide the highest level of security for its customers and their contractors and bearing in mind the risks associated with communication in the form of email (you can read about the threats here) the manufacturer of SaldeoSMART decided to implement eMARKER. eMARKER is an innovative solution that provides additional layer of security for email messages generated by SaldeoSMART.

Each email that is generated by the SaldeoSMART system that will be sent to the user will include a special tag that will be visible in the "Subject" field of the message. This will allow the user to identify the SaldeoSMART system as the source of the message. The user will easily identify SaldeoSMART as the source of an email because of the eMARKER that this message will be marked with will be invented and set up in the system by the account administrator. The eMARKER is a secure tag that will accompany you in all the emails generated by the SaldeoSMART system that you receive.

Q: eMARKER? What's this?

A: eMARKER is an additional functionality introduced to the SaldeoSMART system software in cooperation with ACME LABS Sp. z o.o., a company that develops innovative ways of securing the electronic communication. The aim of implementation of the eMARKER is to increase communication security. eMARKER will appear in emails generated in the SaldeoSMART system that you receive. As a result, you will be less exposed to the risks associated with communication via email. Thanks to eMARKER you will recognize SaldeoSMART as source of these emails. eMARKER is protected by patent law in Poland and abroad on the basis of intellectual and industrial property rights.

Q: How to distinguish an eMARKER?

A: eMARKER is a string of letters and / or numbers and / or special characters that will be defined in the system by the administrator of the account of the Accountancy firm/Company under which you use the SaldeoSMART system.

Q: How to set up eMARKER in the SaldeoSMART system?

The eMARKER can be established at the level of the Accountancy Firm / Company administrator account and the Accounting Office Customer account. The first eMARKER will be generated automatically, and then the account administrator will be able to change it. The eMARKER created in this way will appear in e-mail messages addressed to all system users working under a given account. The administrator will be obliged to inform users about the establishment and changes of the eMARKER.

Q: Where can I find the eMARKER in the email?

A: eMARKER can be found in the "Subject" field of an e-mail.

Q: eMARKER? How it works?

A: In case the Accountancy Firm establishes an eMARKER on its administrator account, it will receive the eMARKER set in the subject of the messages that are sent within the users of the Accountancy Firm.

In case the Accountancy Firm receives a message from the Firm's customer (who has a SaldeoSMART account), the message will include the eMARKER set on their administrator account of the Accountancy Firm.

In case the Customer (SaldeoSMART user) of the Accountancy Firm receives an e-mail sent within the SaldeoSMART users that are Customer employees, the message will include eMARKER that is set on the Customer's account.

In case the Customer of the Accountancy Firm, receives a message from the Accountancy Firm, the message will include an eMARKER set on the Customer's account.

In case the Customer sets the eMARKER on its administrator account, the messages sent within the users of SaldeoSMART that are Customer's employees will include the eMARKER that is set in Customer's administrator account.

Q: The message generated in the system is intended for a group of users, including myself. Will the message contain the eMARKER?

A: When an e-mail is sent to a group of users it will contain an eMARKER set by the account administrator.

Q: Is the use of eMARKER obligatory for SaldeoSMART users?

A: eMARKER is an additional functionality available to all the users of the SaldeoSMART system, however, taking into account the threats that eMARKER helps to mitigate, using this special functionality is in the interest of each SaldeoSMART user. However, if you decide not to use the solution, you only need to delete the string of letters/ numbers/ special characters from the secure tag field. It will not appear in the eMARKER field anymore.

Q: I will not the eMARKER that was set up on the customer's account. What will happen?

A: You will be able to use the solutions offered by SaldeoSMART, however the lack of eMARKER will not give you additional protection against threats related to electronic communication via email.

Q: What shall I do if the eMARKER placed in the "Subject" section of the email differs from the eMARKER that was set up by the account administrator?

A: Do not click on the link in the email. Do not download or run attachments that may be attached to the message. Contact Account Administrator and SaldeoSMART.

Q: Can I change the eMARKER for a new string of letters / numbers / special characters?

A: The SaldeoSMART system does not force that the eMARKER is periodically changed by the user, however, we suggest that is should be periodically changed. The changes shall be made in the administrator account settings for eMARKER that is assigned to the Customer Account, and in the settings for administrator account in case eMARKER is assigned to the Accountancy Firm/ Company.

Q: How much does using of the eMARKER cost me?

A: eMARKER is an innovative functionality made available by the manufacturer of the SaldeoSMART system to all users in order to increase the security of electronic communications via e-mail.
