Experts from ESET's antivirus lab intercepted a wave of emails whose author, impersonating Netflix, tries to extort credit card details from Netflix subscribers. Messages that pretend to be a message from Netflix suggest that the recipient has a password that expired and recommends refreshing it by logging in to their account with the link they provide in the message.

New Android BlackRock malware targets hundreds of apps

Security experts from ThreatFabric have discovered a new Android banking trojan dubbed BlackRock that steals credentials and credit card data from a list of 337 apps. The BlackRock malware borrows the code from the Xerxes banking malware, which is a strain of the popular LokiBot Android trojan.

This shipment will not happen today. A special treat came to us - an attempt to scam "on courier". Criminals have recently used this attack vector quite rarely - scam "for payment for Samsung / iPhone shipment" enjoyed considerable popularity. However, today's attack method looks a bit different and in our opinion it is easier to catch on to it.
