Only 4% of Poles read information about cyber risk supplemented by banks

The knowledge of the Polish society about cybersecurity is at an average level and requires improvement in the COVID-19 era. The study was conducted in October 2020, in the initial period of the second wave of the COVID-19 pandemic; the sample was representative for the Polish society with 1,804 respondents.

Fraudsters call people using real bank telephone number

Your bank is calling you. It all starts with the phone. The screen displays the name of your bank. The exact caller description that you have entered in the contact book on your smartphone appears on screen. Unless, of course, you have added the bank number (e.g. hotline) to your contacts. If you haven't added it, a phone number that actually belongs to your bank appears. A telephone number that is listed on its official website as a contact number.
